Our Community Hospital Inpatient Teams at the Dilke Hospital in Gloucestershire are delighted to offer the post of Registered Nursing Associates. This is an exciting opportunity for both yourselves and the Teams involved as this is a new role in our Community Hospital.

We are now supporting our second cohort of trainees for this new role within the county, we have supported training over the last 2 years and understand the role you have been trained to fulfil. We have a clear identified plan for your role in our Community Hospitals, which defines your position as a key colleague to deliver care across the diversity of patients who are managed within the service. We welcome your clinical skills, holistic thinking and ability to collaborate with the wider multi-professional team to shape care for our patients.

We are looking for Registered Nursing Associates who are either registered (or currently awaiting final registration) who can think independently and make decisions. You will be working closely with our Health Care Assistants and taking direction from our Registered Nurses who will support you in delivering planned care. Working as with our multi-disciplinary Teams you will have a great opportunity gain further confidence in your decision making and be able to make a difference in this new role. As part of this role you will be using electronic patient records for clinical recording.

These posts will work rotational shifts depending on the needs of the service and the staffing model for each of the wards. The service is delivered across 7 days.
