ELFT (East London NHS Foundation Trust) is making a positive difference to thousands of people’s lives, providing support so that they can fulfil their potential and enjoy healthy lives.

The Community Recovery Team North, which is located in the London Borough of Newham, is offering an opportunity for a Band 7 Clinical Lead in our busy and challenging multi-disciplinary service. We welcome all applications from Registered Mental Health Nurses and Registered Social Workers with relevant skills and experience at Band 6 or above.

Along with the Operational Lead, you will also provide day-to-day operational management of the service when required. Please see the attached combined Job Description and Personal Specification for more information.

The Community Recovery Team North provides a mixture of care coordination and outpatient clinic treatment for adults aged 18 - 65yrs over a fixed period for those that need more focused recovery work in the context of severe and enduring mental illness and/or complex mental health needs. Service users will have specific recovery goals in mind and the team supports them to step down to primary care services when appropriate.

The team believes passionately in offering the best quality care in the least restrictive manner; in actively and creatively engaging service users using recovery-based interventions; providing care which is compassionate and sensitive to the diverse population of the local area and fostering an approach which accepts and embraces the uniqueness of each service user.

The team operates Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm; though it is expected that on occasion working outside of these hours due to clinical need will be necessary.

Please state -Three reasons to shortlist me - in the first paragraph of the supporting statement in order to be considered for shortlisting.
