This Fellowship is based in the Imperial College Renal and Transplant Centre at the Hammersmith Hospital which is the largest renal and transplant centre in Europe.

This post is initially for one year but can be extended for a further year depending on the needs and progress of the appointed candidate.

The Fellowship is for either post-CCT trainees, or nephrologists in earlier stages of their training, wanting specialist nephrology experience with opportunity for research /intervention or management experience.

The post is 75% clinical and 25% research/other training. The 75% clinical time will provide the successful applicant with extra clinical training in all aspects of nephrology including glomerulonephritis and specialist renal transplantation. The 25% research/other training time can be used to undertake research in any aspect of renal medicine or transplantation, or to undertake further training in all aspects of interventional nephrology, or gain management experience as determined by the needs and interests of the candidate. The successful candidate will alternate between 9 week clinical blocks and 3 week research/intervention/management blocks.

This position is open to medical graduates from outside the EU subject to regulatory approval.
