COMMUNITY HOSPITAL STAFF NURSE (including newly qualified Nurses and Registered Mental Health Nurses.)

Band: 5

Salary: £24,214 - £30,112 pro rata pa

Hours: Full time and part time rotational posts, inclusive of days, nights & weekend

(flexible working patterns will also be considered including night working so long as they rotate to days during the year in order to meet staffing, supervision and training requirements.)

Location: The Dilke and Lydney Community Hospitals

We are keen to hear from experienced and newly qualified Registered Nurses to join us at our Forest of Dean Community Hospitals. We also welcome Registered Mental Health Nurses and have an ‘Adapt program’ available in order to make sure you adapt to your new working environment.

If you are passionate about providing care to patients in environment which is close to their home and family as well as working as part of an integrated team with our other partners in health and social care, we would love to hear from you. You must in turn have excellent communication skills and the commitment to do what is right for our patients. We are looking for highly motivated nurses who wish to develop their careers in a friendly, local environment and help maintain our high standards of care.

In return we can offer you an excellent training and development program that includes a formal course for newly qualified nurses. For the more experienced nurse, we will support you in your clinical and managerial and have a training and development sister to help you. At Lydney Hospital we also have a Ward Sister (Band 6) development programme for those aspiring to be future Ward Sisters.
