Shepton Mallet Community Hospital is located in the historical town of Shepton Mallet in the beautiful Mendip area. It is a small hospital with 8 beds and an ambulatory care unit, which gives the hospital a real community feel.

Working in the community hospital you will work closely with the therapy teams, social services and GPs to help rehabilitate patients. You will be able follow the patients journey from when they come to us, throughout their care, until they are discharged, which is a rewarding experience for all involved.

This is an exciting time for us, as we work towards escalating patients care in the community to prevent them going into acute beds. This is an opportunity for you to work in a rehabilitation environment with an amazing team, whilst upskilling in areas such as end of life care and ambulatory care.

We will support your transferrable clinical skills with training packages tailored to your needs. We also offer a great preceptorship programme for those who are newly qualified.
