Do you want to lead a team to support clinical services in improving patient care?

Do you want to shape how intelligence is delivered and used to create insight?

If so, we have the ideal opportunity: we are looking for an Information Manager in our Business Intelligence Team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing continuing development of our online reporting functionality (Performance Information Portal) including contributing to effective data warehouse management

  • Managing a team of analysts providing regular and ad hoc intelligence to our clinical teams

  • Carrying out complex, in depth analyses in high impact areas

In business intelligence technical skills are important and we are looking for an experienced analyst with experience in using SQL Service Management Studio who has a good understanding of the principles of data warehousing to deliver business intelligence solutions. However of equal importance is an ability to engage with clinical services and to understand what our analyses tell us about the real world. The successful individual will be able to motivate services, to get them excited about intelligence and how it can be used to improve patient care.
