Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust manages Leighton Hospital in Crewe, Victoria Infirmary in Northwich and Elmhurst Intermediate Care Centre in Winsford. Following an NHSI initiative to establish 29 Pathology networks across England the University Hospital of North Midlands is currently working closely with Mid and East Cheshire NHS Trusts to establish a Pathology network across Staffordshire and Cheshire.


A great opportunity has arisen for an organised, self-motivated, enthusiastic person to join our busy IT department providing administration support to the Associate Director of IT.

Working in a vibrant  IT department your role will include a range of administration tasks including answering the phone, diary management, arranging meetings, typing, raising purchase requisitions, arranging travel and other administration duties.

Some experience of working in a large and diverse organisation will be beneficial and you should have the ability to manage competing timeframes and possess excellent communication skills.  The role will involve close liaison with staff at all levels within the Trust, other local healthcare organisations and external suppliers.

You should have previous administrative experience, be computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft programs, a good team player, well organised and have excellent time management skills.
