We have an exciting opportunity for an administrator to work alongside our paediatric liaison nurse specialist.




This role will involve providing a comprehensive clerical and administrative service to support the Paediatric Liaison Nurse Specialist Team. To assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of the safeguarding systems Trust Wide, ensuring an effective administration of UHS’s safeguarding information and adherence to National and Local Safeguarding Policies and Procedures. The role interfaces with Child Protection, the Emergency Department, Child Health and Maternity at Southampton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.




We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, hardworking, diplomatic and able to handle sensitive information. The successful candidate will also need to possess excellent communication skills, and the passion for delivering exceptional customer service as you will be dealing with internal and external telephone enquiries.




You must have experience in working with data systems, a good level of literacy and numeracy. Experience in paediatric liaison or child protection is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
