Rotational Technician

£21,089 - £23,761 per annum

We have an excellent opportunity within our friendly department for enthusiastic and highly motivated technicians to join our team. The role will involve working in the dispensary and the aseptic unit.

In the dispensary you will contribute to the dispensing of prescription items for in-patients, some out-patients and discharge requests. You will also provide support to the medicines management service including patient’s own drug usage schemes.

In the aseptic unit you will participate in the preparation of CIVAs, cytotoxic medicine and TPN. You will also assist in ensuring the cleaning and monitoring of the suite is maintained at an appropriate level.

It is essential that you have an NVQ3 in Pharmacy Services and/or BTEC equivalent qualification and are registered as a technician with the GPhC.
