We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated person, who has a professional and friendly manner, to take on this new role within our interventional radiology team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS).

 

Working with radiographers, radiologists, the operations manager and theatre operations team the successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination and planning of interventional radiology lists to optimise utilisation of available resources.

 

You will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of all administrative processes along the patient pathway ensuring that the patient’s journey is managed efficiently, smoothly and in accordance with targets and agreed timescales. You will also be required to deputise for the operations manager as required on an ad-hoc basis.

 

The successful applicant will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proven ability to work to deadlines and prioritise their workload.
