The Hospital@Home service - Exciting Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring senior nurse to work with the Operational Lead in developing and supporting the Hospital@Home service which now operates across Basildon, Southend and Mid Essex hospitals.

Hospital @ Home is an exciting service now provided across Southend, Basildon and Mid Essex hospitals. The service supports the hospitals to provide excellent patient care for sub-acute, stable patients in a virtual environment still under the care of the hospital consultant team. Hospital@Home is a nurse delivered service that provides a range of treatments coordinated by the hospital, but delivered in the patients' homes. These treatments range from IV antibiotics to wound care and monitoring, incorporating new innovative technologies, for which you will receive training for.

You will be responsible for supporting and delivering the ongoing education of the nursing teams across all three sites for Hospital@Home as well as working with the operational lead for the service to improve patient pathways, processes and policies.

In addition, you may be asked to provide ward manager cover for short periods of absence on any of the three sites if required.

You will be a qualified nurse who has experience of working at Band 6 for a minimum of three years with an interest in developing your own career within the field of education.
