Band 4 Information Governance and Information Security Coordinator Employer: CSH Surrey Department: Digital Services, Information Governance Team Location: within CSH gerographical area Salary: £20,150 - £23,363 + HCAS ________________________________________ An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Digital Services Information Governance Team. The purpose of this role is to ensure the organisation has managed and coordinated approach to the implementation and improvement of Information Governance initiatives within CSH, to enable it to meet its statutory and legal requirements. Reporting to the Data Protection Officer, you will be responsible for Subject Access Request and Freedom of Information key deliverables. You will have experience in working in a fast paced environment, with a strong knowledge in the Data Protection Act 2018, General Data Protection Regulation 2018, and Freedom of Information Act. You will also have a strong background in service delivery and administration skills, enjoying sharing your knowledge and skills with others. You will have excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders including our staff, patients, health care providers, Information Commissioner’s Office, Local Councils, police and other third parties in the protection and provision of information. A previous working knowledge and experience in Information Governance, Subject Access Requests, will be essential criteria for any applicant, as well as the specialist expertise the ideal candidate will be an excellent team worker able to bring colleagues together from across a diverse organisation to ensure all matters of information governance are safely and effectively managed. ________________________________________ For more information about the job or to discuss the role further, please contact Naomi Barnes, Data Protection Officer on 07989 672 637.
