The Role


Cancer MDT Tracker

The Cancer team are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join them in providing 'behind the scenes' support to patients who have been referred to hospital to exclude a diagnosis of cancer. By ensuring that patient pathways are monitored daily you will improve patient experience and support the Trust in achieving and sustaining the national Cancer targets.

As a member of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and will be required to 'track' patients who are on a cancer pathway, ensuring that diagnostic tests and appointments are booked and results are reported in line with agreed timescales. Excellent organisational and time management skills are essential to ensure that patients are tracked and their progress monitored along their pathway. You should be able to demonstrate an attention to detail and have a thorough, methodical and flexible approach. You must possess sound computer skills and excellent communication skills as you will be required to liaise with teams both within the Trust and externally.
