Scrub Sister/Senior Operating Department Practitioner
Band: 6
Hours 30 hours available (Flexible working patterns will be considered)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Scrub Sister/Senior ODP to join our friendly team in Theatres. Our Theatre services provide a variety of surgical Day case specialties including General surgery, Urology, Breast and Gynecology. The theatres are renowned for their modern and spacious up to date environment, run by a team who are committed to providing the highest quality, safe, patient centered care.

Our passion is for delivering care/services of the highest quality to our local communities and we are proud that our patient, family and friends feedback is outstanding. To help us achieve our ambitions we are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and dynamic Scrub sister /Senior ODP.

The successful candidate will require a minimum of five years post registration experience within a scrub role, covering a range of surgical specialties and will have excellent communication and organisational skills.

Stroud is a beautiful market town in a semi-rural position that has the added bonus of being in close proximity to the M5 motorway and is also serviced by excellent train links to London, Bristol and the South West; our site offers free parking.

This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check with an Adult Barring List check. Successful candidates are expected to undertake a DBS check at their own cost and sign up to the DBS update service.
