The Role


We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic nurses to be part of our team and are currently looking for enthusiastic nurses who are interested in their own personal development to join our expanding JAG accredited Endoscopy Unit.

Previous endoscopy experience is beneficial but not essential as a full training package will be provided. However you must be a motivated team player and be able to demonstrate commitment to your own professional development.

With over 7500 procedures carried out last year and a projected increase of 4% each year, the team has a clear direction and strategy to cope with this expansion. The Endoscopy Unit has JAG accreditation status with the inspectors commenting our service was “A patient focused service which has safety and quality at its heart” and found a “high level of staff engagement”. This glowing report shows the Endoscopy Unit continues to benefit from significant investment in the environment, equipment and our people. Staff development is our top priority to meet our expected future demand, with several of our existing nursing team already enrolled in anesthetic and nurse endoscopist training.

We have exciting opportunities to develop staff in research and to involve staff in piloting our straight to test pathway which is now live. There has never been a busier or more exciting time to join us.
