In 2002 Inclusion was created as part of the award winning South Staffordshire & Shropshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, now known as Midlands Partnership Foundation NHS Trust. We provide services to in excess of 19,000 services users per annum across the Home Counties, Midlands, East of England up to the North of England.

The Inclusion Directorate with Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation provides Integrated Mental Health and Psychosocial teams into 10 prisons across Staffordshire and Worcestershire.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide administration support to the integrated mental health and substance misuse team at HMP Brinsford.

You will be part of an admin team who will be the single point of contact for the integrated team responding to service queries in person and over the phone and dealing with service user and partner agency inquiries.

You will be mainly be responsible for

~ dealing efficiently with the department’s incoming post prioritising and registering referrals and ensuring these are signposted to clinicians completing the daily referrals triage meeting.

~ Coordinating clinics using the clinical IT system, sending appointment information to service users

~ Liaising with community and prison based services, GPs, Community Teams, Primary Care, Probation, Prison Staff, and Secure Hospitals among others.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, organisational, proven administration and IT skills are essential for this role as well as an adaptable, flexible approach to work and be able to work well within a team as well as being able to use own initiative.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Experience of using clinical IT systems (specific training on local systems will be provided
  • Extensive IT skills including the use of excel to present data
  • Have experience of clinics / planning schedules / rotas
  • Excellent Patient and Customer Service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • An ability to use own initiative and be self-motivated but also to work within a wider team
  • Problem solving skills
