In 2002 Inclusion was created as part of the award winning South Staffordshire & Shropshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, now known as Midlands Partnership Foundation NHS Trust. It was developed to provide evidence based innovative services to beneficiaries across England with the flexibility to provide local solutions to local communities but with the governance and commitment to quality of the NHS.

Successful in its endeavors, Inclusion has grown to both substance misuse and mental health services in the community, residential and prisons. Employing over 500 staff, including Psychiatrists, Counsellors, Doctors, Nurses, Therapists, Drug & Alcohol Recovery Workers, Peer Mentors and Volunteers. We provide services to in excess of 19,000 services users per annum across the Home Counties, Midlands, East of England up to the North of England.

The range of services we provide allows us to work with our service users in prisons, extending this into community settings, tackling both substance misuse and mental health concerns. Inclusion has extensive experience of working alongside and providing services to Clinical Commissioning Groups, Local Authority Public Health Teams, Police & Crime Commissioners, NOMS, NHS England and a broad range of public and voluntary sector institutions. Recovery Workers, Inclusion Visions Thurrock

Part time (0.80wte) Band 5 (£24,214 – 30,112)


An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Inclusion Visions substance misuse team as a Recovery Worker, delivering psychosocial and pharmacological interventions to our service users. At Inclusion, we support people across the country with substance misuse issues. As a recovery worker, you'll make a real difference to their lives as you develop the personal, recovery focused and realistic support packages needed to help turn things around. Passionate about people, you'll enjoy the opportunity to learn and develop, enhancing your own life whilst part of a dedicated, supportive multidisciplinary team.

We're looking for a Recovery Worker who is skilled at building rapport with service users, colleagues and the partners we work alongside. You must have considerable experience of working within a substance misuse team and have a commitment to and understanding of recovery based interventions. You will have excellent communication skill and an ability to be flexible in a fluid and dynamic environment
