Hours:18.75 hours available (Flexible working patterns will be considered as will hours)

We have an exciting opportunity for Band 6 Endoscopy Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team. We are seeking an experienced endoscopy practitioner who is looking for the challenge of leading a dedicated, caring and motivated team in our JAG accredited Unit.

The successful applicant will have extensive experience in endoscopy or similar environment, with the range of skills required to work in all areas of the service and support, lead and manage the existing team. Experience is essential in admission, discharge, airway management, accessories/biopsies, and decontamination. A sound knowledge of JAG processes, GRS requirements and GIN training is also essential for this position. We welcome those who are looking for a unit that is supportive and innovative.

The Endoscopy unit is part of the Day Surgery Unit and Theatres and the workforce model is one where staff have transferable skills. We are passionate about the quality of our endoscopy services and pride ourselves on clinical & nursing leadership. We deliver care/services of the highest quality to our local communities and we are proud that our patient, family and friends feedback is outstanding.

Stroud is a beautiful market town in a semi-rural position that has the added bonus of being in close proximity to the M5 motorway and is also serviced by excellent train links to London, Bristol and the South West; our site offers free parking.
