The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a brand new pathway that is truly centred around the patient. The new Musculo-Skeletal (MSK) Pathway is an innovative model based around the implementation of First Contact Practitioners in the community and will be collaboratively run by organisations within the Integrated Care Partnership. This role will lead this model pathway across the Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (as lead provider), EPUT, Stellar healthcare and Uttlesford Healthcare. The successful candidate will get a unique opportunity to develop, implement and lead the operational delivery of the pathway to the population of West Essex.

The role is accountable alongside the EPUT Transformation lead for ensuring the service is delivered to the highest standards of patient care and deliver the required operational KPI’s as set out in the commissioner contract. There will also be a level of delegated authority from and to the partner organisations in this alliance via a partnership board. The role also includes ensuring that services are continually improved and developed in line with best practice standard, and that the business continuity is maintained.
