This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, dynamic and confident clinician to lead and develop the physiotherapy service for the Oncology and Haematology service. The post holder will also have responsibility for the Infectious Diseases ward. This post has been adopted by Macmillan and the post holder will have the advantages of being a Macmillan professional.

The Physiotherapy Service is a large clinical service and has some 120 WTE staff providing in and outpatient services across 2 sites. Opened in 2008 the Queens centre for Oncology and Haematology a state of the art facility that is primarily for cancer patients from across the region. The successful candidate will be required to undertake a team leader role in the planning, delivery and evaluation of the physiotherapy service to Oncology and Haematology and Infectious diseases.

The post requires a skilled clinician who is forward thinking, self-motivated, possesses excellent communication skills and has experience of working at a senior level in this speciality.

 

As a Clinical Lead you will be expected to be a role model for your team and pride yourself on delivering high quality care and motivate your team to do the same.
