COUNTESS MOUNTBATTEN HOSPICE CHARITY

For over four decades Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity have provided outstanding palliative care to its community and its services have made a huge impact on many families lives across Hampshire.

The journey towards end of life can be a complex one. Medical advances and changes in family lives mean that the care we provide to our patients and their families constantly evolves to meet the needs and expectations of our Community. For us to extend our services further to reach more people we need to recruit additional staff to support our outstanding services, here at the Hospice.


ICT Systems Support

Salary up to £25,00.00 per annum

37.5 hours per week to be work flexibly to support on-call cover

 

Do you have the experience and hands on skills to keep our IT systems running 24/7, while our teams care for their patients.

We are seeking to recruit an experienced ICT Systems Support member to join our new ICT team here at Countess Mountbatten Hospice. This role will not only provide you with development opportunities but also provide the successful individual with the opportunity to help develop and deliver the new ICT services across the Hospice.

About the role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day support, implementation, development and upgrade of IT applications and hardware across the Hospice and our Shops. You have the opportunity to support our growing ICT department, working closely with eh Systems Developer and Head of ICT. You will be involved with supporting the development, configuration, testing, training, implementation, integration and administration of ICT systems across the Hospice. Working closely with our ICT team based on the Isle of Wight, you will be required to travel as part of this role to support cross organisational working

In return we will provide full training, regular supervision, training and development, plus a competitive salary and generous holiday provisions.

You will be required to provide on-call provisions as required by your manager, but generally you will be required to work your hours from Monday to Friday each week.

About you

You will be working with various individuals and teams, helping to deliver high quality ICT services across all areas and locations of Mountbatten.

You will have excellent communication skills and be able to make decisions that ensure the safe running of our services.

You will be qualified to degree level in a computer related subject and hold MCP/MCSA or the equivalent qualifications/experience.

You will have experience of operating and managing ICT system, networks and databases, including Office 365. You will have experience of implementing new ICT systems and infrastructure across organisations. You will have advance ICT keyboard skills and be an organised individual who is able to work on their own inactive or as part of the wider Hospice/Department team.

You will hold a full clean driving licence, as travel maybe required to support ICT matters within our shops across Hampshire.

You will be keen to use your skills and experience to help us continue to deliver our services. We will help you to grown in the role and will offer the right candidates’ opportunities for training and development.
