Band 4 Assistant Practitioner

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner in our Critical Care team at Royal Papworth Hospital as we prepare to move to our new hospital on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus in April 2019.

We are a 33 bed Cardiothoracic Critical Care Unit which will expand with the move to the new site, who care for a range of short and long term patients including those who are post Cardiac Surgery, PPCI pathway, ECMO referrals, Heart and Lung Transplant and BiVADS.

As a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner in Critical Care you will work under the supervision of registered nurses to care for patients, undertaking all aspects of patient care to the highest standard.

You will require effective communication and interpersonal skills, and the flexibility to meet changing demands of service and undertake a physically demanding role. The role requires you to work a shift pattern covering nights and weekends.
