The Surgical Materials Testing Laboratory (SMTL) are recruiting a Programmer/Analyst to work from the Princess of Wales site in Bridgend as part of the SMTL IT Department.

The successful applicant will be expected to write analytical routines and code using the R language for data/statistical analysis and reporting of SMTL test results. They will also be expected to write routines in other scripting languages such as bash, Python or Java. They will help maintain the IT systems in SMTL, including servers, workstations, databases, software and hardware associated with analytical equipment.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
