We are looking for a Clinical Typist & Administrator to provide essential support to our clinical therapy teams striving to ensure the patients’ experience is what we would expect for our own family and friends. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and keen to deliver in both performance and customer service.

The post holder will assist the Service Pathway Co-ordinators in providing an effective and efficient support service to clinical teams, maintaining robust systems and processes for administrative management of the patient pathway. The post holder will provide an efficient audio typing service to ensure that clinical correspondence and all associated actions have been undertaken to ensure smooth progress throughout the patient pathway in line with clinical requests.

The post holder will have skills in all areas of administrative functions to enable them to support the patient pathway, using Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to ensure that functions of the role are carried out correctly within given timescales.

Candidates must have previous experience in working in a clerical/administrative role ideally within the NHS and knowledge of medical terminology would be advantageous.

Candidates will undertake an audio typing test as part of the interview process

The successful candidates will be required to work flexibly across all Trust sites including community hubs dependent on service needs.
