If you are looking for an active role to develop your clinical skills in the area of caring for older people, then we have the position for you. You will be responsible for working in partnership with the whole team and will play a vital role in the development of the ward.

Our inpatient service provides intensive care, support and treatment for older people in Hampshire with acute mental health problems.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, enthusiastic and positive about the care of older people. You must be a highly motivated, competent and flexible practitioner. You will be part of the team assessing needs and providing an individualised plan of care for patients, and support for family and carers.

You need to be able to demonstrate; strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, be organised and possess good IT skills.

To enable you to perform at your best you will receive regular supervision; team support and dedicated help to get you through Nurse Revalidation

This post would be suitable for RMN registered applicants as well as newly qualified student nurses.
