Fixed Term Consultant in Rheumatology

 

(Full Time – Mat Leave Cover 6 Months)

North Bristol NHS Trust is looking for a full time Fixed Term Consultant Rheumatologist for 6 Months. The role will primarily be based at our main base at Southmead Hospital; sessions are also planned at satellite sites, which include Cossham Hospital and Yate Health Centre. The role commences as soon as possible. You will be required to run out-patient clinics, cover ward referrals and take part in the weekend on-call rota. The post is for 10 PAs (+1% on-call supplement).

 

You will be working alongside seven Consultant Rheumatologists, medical specialty trainees and our team of rheumatology allied health professionals. We offer general rheumatology services as well as specialist services for people with osteoporosis, connective tissue diseases and vasculitis, ankylosing spondylitis and transition clinics. The Trust provides a wide range of services to a population of more than 500,000 people in Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.

    • Recent UK experience or equivalent
