Join us at Hastings, in 1066 country. Home to some of Sussex's finest coast and countryside. We are looking for an enthusiastic radiographer to join our expanding Department of Radiology at the Conquest Hospital Hastings.

This is a clinical role with an emphasis on Interventional and Cardiac Radiography so the right candidate will require significant experience.

Experience in General and Trauma radiography is also essential.

Previous experience working as a radiographer in the UK or working in a Radiology Department at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust will be an advantage.

Shift and/or On-Call duties to provide a comprehensive 24 hour, 365 day a year service in IR and Cath Lab Modalities are an essential part of this role. You should be able to work a variety of shifts in order to meet this commitment together with out of hours working.

The department is home to a Siemens Artis Zee Interventional Suite, Siemens Axiom Artis Cardiac, Siemens Artis Zee Multipurpose, Toshiba Aquilion 64 and an Aquilion ONE CT Scanners, Agfa Automated DR600 X-ray due for installation 2019, GE Senographe Pristina due for installation 2019, two Siemens Aera 1.5 MRI Scanners due for installation 2019.

The department actively supports internal training in speciality modalities to include Cardiac and Interventional Radiography, CT and MR scanning. External training is supported in Medical Ultrasound, Radiographer reporting and Mammography.

Hastings is an attractive seaside town, with good amenities and sports facilities, surrounded by stunning Sussex countryside. Historic towns of Battle and Rye are within easy access, as are castles, theatres, museums, nature reserves and sandy beaches. Throughout Hastings and 1066 country there is a full year-round events programme with festivals and celebrations.

There is easy road and rail access to Brighton and London, plus Eurostar and the Channel Tunnel are within 45 minutes.
