Are you looking for a new challenge? Are you passionate about improving the quality and patient experience of services within primary care? If your answer to the above two questions is yes, then we would very much like to meet you!

General practice is at the heart of the care provided by the NHS. The need to invest in general practice has never felt more important for the long-term sustainability of the NHS. This is why we have created this new role - Patient Safety & Quality Nurse Primary Care – to assist with the continued development of person-centred, coordinated care of complex physical, mental and social issues, within the context of the individual, their families and the wider community.

The post holder will be based at Mid Essex CCG but you will be expected to travel across the area to visit individual GP practices. The Patient Safety & Quality Nurse will work with primary care services to ensure that robust and effective systems and processes are in place to monitor the clinical quality and safety of primary care across Mid Essex.

Could you be our champion for quality? Ensuring it remains a core focus across primary care services, and to work to the principles of patient focused compassionate care as identified in the 6C’s - Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage and Commitment.

If you are highly organised, motivated and a team player we want to hear from you! For further details/informal visits contact: Leila Francis / 01245 459472
