This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, ambitious and motivated individual to work within the Programme Management Office (PMO) to support the Trust Wide Recovery and Transformation Programme.

The post holder will work closely with the PMO Programme Manager and Associate Director for Transformation to support delivery of the Recovery & Transformation Programme. In particular, the post holder will support the PMO Programme manager in the day to day running of the programme management office.

The PMO Support Officer will work within a dynamic team to deliver an effective service supporting senior managers and PMO in co-ordinating, planning and scheduling programmes across the Trust’s Recovery & Transformation Programme, from project initiation through to completion and benefits realisation.

Supporting the PMO Programme Manager, the PMO support officer will work with Trust wide teams and individuals to ensure that the Recovery and Transformation portfolio of tasks/projects/programmes is planned, managed and delivered effectively.

The post holder will be responsible for developing and maintaining PMO tools and processes for use across the organisation. The post holder will also support leads from across the organisation to use the recognised PMO tools and processes.

The PMO support officer will attend programme board, management and team meetings as required by the Associate Director, Transformation and PMO programme manager, to capture and provide timely and accurate reports on progress and issues.

In line with other NHS Organisations in the Yorkshire and Humber Region a successful candidate appointed into a post within this Trust will be required to pay the DBS check fee (£49). This is customarily payable over 4 months as a salary deduction once employed by the Trust. If you receive a conditional offer letter, complete your DBS application and later withdraw from the recruitment process, an invoice will be raised via the Trust's finance department to recoup the outlay.
