Glossop Ward:

We currently have full and part time positions available for a registered nurse to join our team on Glossop Ward.

We are an acute medical ward specialising in respiratory, gastroenterology and general medicine. We have patients who require management of both the acute and chronic phase of their disease. We offer specific training in our areas of speciality and pride ourselves on supporting personal development. We encourage the development of our staff, promote the role of the Trainee Nursing Associate, and embrace Student Nurses.

Glossop Ward offers an exciting opportunity to both new and experienced staff. We are proactive with full multidisciplinary involvement in delivering the best care for our patients. We were the first ward to implement the electronic whiteboard, bedside handovers, and safety briefings and are leading the way with the Enhanced recovery in medicine. We were nominated for a Nursing Times Award for multi-disciplinary working.
