Knowledge and experience of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion agenda and legal requirements with the Public Sector and ideally within the NHS is required, but a willingness to meet a challenge, be flexible and demonstrate the Trust values is really important to us.

The post holder will be the subject matter expert for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion within the Trust and this is a great opportunity to show and develop your passion and expertise in this field. The successful candidate will be central to the Trust delivering it’s four E,D&I aims, which are:-

Better Health Outcome for All

We will provide equal access to our services and improve the experience of our patients with protected characteristics.

Inclusive leadership at all levels

We will work to ensure that the Trust has inclusive and diverse leadership across all levels of the workforce.

The successful candidate will be a great communicator, able to build relationships and use their interpersonal skills to present a professional attitude at all times. You will need to be highly organised and able to manage multiple projects at the same time.

The HR&OD team is a great place to work, we are fortunate to be able to provide a professional service to the Trust and our aim is to add value to patient care through helping the organisation to value and support its staff.

As part of the HR&OD team you will be supported to develop your skills and increase your knowledge. You will be surrounded by experienced HR & OD professionals who will provide guidance and help when you need it but will allow you to shine and grow in your role.

Please note pay progression is subject to the NHS Agenda for Change Pay Progression provisions applicable from 1 April 2019.

All posts are subject to NHS Employment Check Standards including a DBS check, if applicable. Depending on the classification of the post, in-line with DBS guidelines, a Standard or Enhanced disclosure will be required which may include a check of the ‘Vulnerable Adults List’, the ‘Children’s List’ and/or the Independent Safeguarding Authorities (ISA’s) barred lists.

From 1st April 2016, a charge of £39 (Standard) or £60 (Enhanced) will be made by the successful candidate which will be deducted from the first 3 months’ salary. In addition to this, you will also be required to re-pay any future costs that may arise in relation to DBS fees.

NB. Current employees of Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust who have had a satisfactory DBS check, carried out by this Trust during the last 3 years, will not be required to undertake a new one. Where staff have not had a check (classification appropriate to the post offered) within the last 3 years, they will be required to undertake and pay for this, as per the arrangements above.


Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship
