We have two part-time vacancies for experienced Biomedical Scientists with NHSCSP/BSCC certificate of competence or equivalent, MSc or equivalent to play a key role in the day to day management of the cytology laboratory, as part of our senior cytology team.

 

Current work load for the department is 49,000 gynaecological cytology samples and a non-gynaecological workload of 2,000 per annum  and 1,000 andrology cases.

 

You will have the ability to lead and motivate a dedicated team, have good diagnostic skills in gynaecological cytology and be able to show good communication and prioritisation skills.
