Band 6/7 Neuro Occupational Therapist- Full time

Peartree House Rehabilitation is a private specialist neurological unit based in Southampton, dedicated to providing assessment, treatment and management to people with an acquired brain injury or neurological condition. Through active neurological rehabilitation, slow stream rehabilitation or long-term complex care, we pride ourselves on providing goal-driven, patient-centred interventions. The service focuses on managing a range of deficits caused by an acquired brain injury and neurological problems, with the aim of reintegration into community, family, social, education and work situations.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior OT Band 6 or 7 to join our Occupational Therapy department. You will be providing an effective, safe and quality service to our clients at Peartree House and our expanding community service. This post offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive, friendly and learning environment created by the established multi-disciplinary team.

With proven clinical skills in the management of acquired brain injury/neurological clients with rehabilitation and long term complex needs, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to teach and develop more junior staff and students. Working in a department, which offers a wide range of experience-4 OTs & 6 OTAs, you will be encouraged and supported to develop your clinical, teaching, and managerial skills. You will be part of a well-established MDT and will contribute to the ongoing development of the OT service within Peartree House.

Preferably you will work full time however there is flexibility around this.

The right candidates will have neuro experience preferably in an inpatient setting. In return we offer a competitive salary and comprehensive support including CPD.
