Midwife

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and committed Band 6 midwife to complete our integrated midwifery team workforce.

The post offers the opportunity to be part of Torbay’s nationally renowned and well established integrated team midwifery model. We are proud of our commitment to normal birth and offering women true choice in where to birth their baby.

Templer team is based in Teignmouth and covers the caseload from Moor to Sea offering a variety of rural and urban caseload, with close boundary working with the neighbouring Trust. Integrated teams in Torbay currently follow the continuity of carer model with further work pending to increase this across the service; offering midwives the chance to maintain all skills.

You will need a current driving licence. To ensure safety and to meet the requirement to participate in a 24 hour on-call rota, the applicant should be resident within the Torbay and South Devon Foundation Trust 'catchment' area during this time.

 

Successful applicants will be expected to participate in the escalation on call rota.
