Surgical Directorate Department of Audiology Audiologist

Band 5 – 37.5 hours (applications for part-time hours will also be considered)

Our friendly, patient-focused and flexible department in Salisbury are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and conscientious new member to work predominantly in our adult team.

The Audiology department at Salisbury District Hospital provide a comprehensive range of diagnostic and rehabilitative services for children and adults with hearing and balance disorders. We also have a specialist service for tinnitus and a large bone conduction hearing device programme.

It is an exciting time to join our team as we are under new leadership and there are lots of opportunities to contribute to our ongoing service improvement as we work towards IQIPS accreditation.

Applications are welcomed from newly qualified or experienced Audiologists. This is an excellent opportunity for a caring individual with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to utilise and further develop their expertise in audiological care.

The ability to work as part of a team or independently is essential, as is being able to manage a busy and varied workload. CPD is encouraged and there will be opportunities to support this. Although the successful candidate will be based predominantly at Salisbury District Hospital occasional travel to peripheral clinics may be required.

We offer parking on site at Salisbury District Hospital, a daily charge applies. We encourage our staff to utilise other green methods of getting to work such as cycling or walking where possible, and our Trust is well connected through the bus services to the city centre and other areas.
