Welsh Language Translator, Full Time (Grade 5 £23,023 hyd at £29,608 )

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership is searching for a qualified, experienced and talented Welsh Language Translator to join our Welsh Language Services team.

You'll be a qualified and experienced translator and will possess excellent IT Skills as well as extremely strong linguistic skills in Welsh and English. You'll be working in a small, professional and busy team, capable of managing priorities.

The duties will include translating written resources for all of our departments in NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership in order to ensure that we're compliant with the Welsh Language Standards [Health Sector] 2018 under the Welsh Language Measure 2011.

This post will offer a great opportunity to any translator who wishes to develop and enhance their translation skills in the health, medical, clinical fields as well as recruitment, procurement and much, much more. The applicant must be able to demonstrate highly proficient skills in Welsh and English.

THIS ABILITY TO SPEAK, UNDERSTAND, READ AND WRITE WELSH IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE. The ability to work through the medium of Welsh is an essential skill for this Translator role, the job description and person specification is available in Welsh.
