Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides services through its three hospitals in Andover, Basingstoke and Winchester. We provide all general hospital services for planned and emergency care as well as specialist services.


At Hampshire Hospitals Patient Care is at the heart of what we do.

We have an opportunity for a Clinical Fellow to join our team in the Diabetes and Endocrinology Department within our Medicine Division.

Whilst predominately General Medicine, there are sub-specialities including; Cardiology, Elderly Care, Stroke, Rehab, Diabetes and Endocrine, Respiratory, Haematology and Gastroenterology.

Most departments include 2 Consultants, 2 Medical Registrars (SpR), 2 Senior House Officer (SHO) Grades, and 2/3 x 1st Year Foundation (FY1).

All acute patients are admitted through our Acute Medical Unit and are supported by 1 X SpR, 2 x SHO Grade, 1 x FY1 and triaged to speciality medical teams/acute physicians as appropriate. Medical on-call day and night teams are also based in AMU.

The Trust offers excellent experience with in Diabetes and Endocrinology. Whilst this post is not recognised for achievement of core training the successful applicant will be encouraged to attend department teaching for professional development.
