Moving & Handling Trainer

£20,150 - £23,363 per annum pro rata

A flexible and variable working opportunity has arisen within the Back Care Department to appoint a substantive Moving and Handling trainer.

The successful candidate will need to work as part of a team in the Back Care Department, to assist and deliver moving and handling training courses as required, including Induction, and refresher sessions, specific courses for Theatres and Ladywell staff, moving and handling risk assessors courses and Master classes for specific moving and handling equipment.

We are closely linked to Plymouth University and deliver Diploma/Degree courses, departmental visits to assist staff with complex patient handling, equipment advice and monitoring of plus sized equipment is frequently performed.

Previous experience in patient moving and handling is essential. Clerical, computer, and training skills are necessary.
