Senior Commissioning and Transformation Manager for Mental Health - Band 8a

We have an exciting opportunity for a new Senior Commissioning and Transformation Manager for Mental Health role within our new Clinical Transformation Directorate.

Mid Essex CCG wants residents of Mid Essex to Live Well. This role will be part of a newly formed Strategy and Transformation team that will deliver on this pledge.

The team forms part of the hub of the CCG driving the change agenda. This is a dynamic and exciting role in which the post holder will have the scope and autonomy to design, develop and deliver change, working collaboratively with patients and clinicians to enact tangible impacts for our population. A key focus for the team and this role will be managing change and consideration of new and innovative models of service delivery and contracting.

The post holder needs to embody the NHS values, demonstrating real commitment to wanting to improve the way we deliver services or our population. The team working with you will be multidisciplinary with a common ethos of doing the right thing for the population of mid Essex. We are looking for a dynamic, motivated individual who is a self-starter, able to adapt to new strategies, ideas and ways of working as they develop through the transformation agenda.

The post-holder will ensure that clinical services are delivered in line with contract requirements and work with the wider commissioning team to ensure that activity and quality outcomes are achieved.
