We are offering a unique and exciting opportunity to work in the beautiful county of Somerset. Somerset Partnership and Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trusts are to merge creating the role of a joint Associate Director of Estates & Facilities.

In support of evolving clinical strategies and a resultant Estates Strategy, to which the post holder will influence, the successful applicant will develop and exploit opportunities by fully integrating the EFM teams to improve service quality and efficiency.

The merged Trusts have in excess of £90m of wave 3 and 4 capital funding to replace and improve Critical Care and Acute Care Assessment facilities at Musgrove Park Hospital.

Although the post holder does not directly manage the capital investment he / she will be required to ensure that the Operational EFM team provide support to the established Projects Team with a specific responsibility to ensure that designs enabling excellent patient care and from a whole life cost perspective achieve best value.
