Medical Receptionist/ Administrator – Trinity Medical Centre, Hove

An opportunity for an enthusiastic, dedicated and highly motivated person to join our busy surgery of 24,000 patients in Hove. We are situated in a purpose built, award winning conversion from a church to a modern health centre.

We require a reliable, personable and flexible receptionist to join our friendly team

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Help patients face to face and on the phone
  • Make appointments and enter information on a clinical computer system
  • Undertake general office and reception duties
  • Support colleagues and other health professionals

Experience is preferred but not essential, Applicants must have a good general standard of education including Maths, English and IT and the ability to remain calm and good natured in a very busy and sometimes challenging environment. Excellent customer service skills and the sensitivity to deal with our patients in a kind and efficient manner are essential as you will be the “face of the surgery”.

Good communication and IT skills required. Previous experience would be an advantage although training will be provided for the ideal candidate

We are recruiting for up to 50 hours per week and will consider splitting these hours into two part -time roles. These hours are typically worked Monday to Friday, but flexibility and the ability to cover for sickness and holidays is essential
