Harrogate Integrated Facilities is a wholly owned subsidiary of Harrogate and District Foundation NHS Trust and supplies services to the hospital and community services with respect to:

Maintenance, Sterile Services, Portering, Catering, Linen and Sewing room, Security, Car Parking, General Office, Front desk reception and Domestics.

This is a new company formed in March 2018. We are excited about the opportunities being within our own company brings and we know that our success is dependent on the continued hard work, co-operation and innovation of everyone at HIF, and we want to create a working environment that allows everyone to thrive.

Salary: £4,400 per annum

Time Commitment: one day per month

Location: Harrogate

Harrogate HealthCare Facilities Management Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust, providing all facilities and engineering services to the Trust and other contracts. This encompasses catering, cleaning, portering, fire and security, engineering, sterile services and equipment library as well as additional contracts for medical engineering. The company commenced operations in March 2018.

Harrogate Healthcare Facilities Management is governed by its own Board, consisting of a Chairman and three Non-Executive Directors.

We are seeking to build on the high quality services already delivered by the Trust and develop an increasingly commercial focus. As such we are seeking an additional Non-Executive Director to join the Board.

Candidates will bring board-level experience with strong leadership, strategic and entrepreneurial skills. They will be well connected in the local businesses community and ideally have senior experience in an industry related to the business of HHFM (for example hospitality or logistics).

There will be a requirement of the successful candidate to work flexibly in order to support the establishment and development of this new and exciting venture.
