An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated midwife to join our evolving bereavement team as a Band 7 Lead Bereavement Midwife, working within the Family and Women’s Division at Hull Women’s and Childrens Hospital.


The bereavement midwife must be a practising midwife who will lead and work as a member of the multidisciplinary team within the maternity service. They will facilitate and provide individualised care to bereaved women and their families who access the services of Hull and East Yorkshire Hospital NHS Trust.


The successful candidate would need to demonstrate strong clinical leadership within the maternity services and will play an integral role in service delivery. The post holder would be pivotal in developing and delivering a first class service to bereaved families and striving towards been a centre of excellence.
