Mountain Healthcare Limited is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Nurse with Sexual Health experience in West Yorkshire.

Each region has its own dedicated SARC (sexual assault referral centre) which offers support and practical help to anyone who has been a victim of rape or sexual assault. This service is co-funded by the Police and the NHS.

We are looking for a dedicated Nurse to come and join our fantastic team.

The nursing team are responsible for providing sexual health screening and testing for under 16s.

This role will be paid at band 8A > £38,000 to £45,000 pa with travel expenses

The successful applicants will be based within easy reach of The West Yorkshire SARC based in Dewsbury / Wakefield. This would require having access to a car.

It is essential that candidates have previous experience of working within sexual health and can demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and hold an adult Nursing qualification. Experience of dealing with victims of sexual assault will be an advantage, although full support and training will be provided. The training will be substantive and will require a high level of commitment but we are excited to be able to offer you a fantastic training programme and include opportunities to undertake higher qualifications.

Our vision for delivering this high quality service specification will require all staff to be able to develop new skills and we will work with you to provide the right support in a challenging environment. We would love our staff to identify new ideas and help develop the evidence base to identify what people need from our service.

The role will be 10-6pm Monday – Friday, at times it may be necessary to workoutside of this.
