Band 6 - Diabetes Specialist Nurse

 

North Bristol NHS Trust has an opportunity for a fixed term band 6 Diabetes Specialist Nurse, to cover maternity leave for 1 year.

 

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate sound knowledge and experience in managing patients with diabetes within the clinical setting. Previous experience as a diabetes nurse or managing patients within a specialist diabetes setting will be advantageous.

 

Our supportive multi-disciplinary team are highly motivated and committed to providing an exceptional standard of care for people with diabetes in both inpatient and outpatients. The post holder will need to share our values.

 

Following a preceptorship period, the post holder will have a job plan based around service requirements and will be supported by the team to fulfil ongoing learning objectives.
