Our continually developing Community rehabilitation and intermediate care team, based in the Ivybridge area, has an excellent opportunity for a full time enthusiastic, forward-thinking Band 6 physiotherapist. You will be working as part of an health and social care team providing Occupational Therapy in the community to the local population. The team works closely with University Hospital Plymouth to aid efficient and timely discharges alongside Devon Onward care Team.

 

The work will include Community Rehab, Intermediate care work and Homefirst assessments, Supporting patients within the most appropriate setting: at home, intermediate care placements or residential / nursing care homes and assisting with group work.

 

The post holder will be well supported by senior staff, as well as by the wider multi-disciplinary team. There are excellent CPD training opportunities.

 

We are situated near to the beautiful South Devon coast and are within easy reach of Dartmoor, Salcombe and Dartmouth. There are excellent opportunities for outdoor pursuits and leisure activities in the area.
