These values are very important to us, and as a potential candidate you should be made aware that we test for these throughout the whole assessment/recruitment and selection process, and will only interview and recruit individuals who demonstrate these values through their application and behaviour.

Calling all Physiotherapists – Do you want to be part of the future of physiotherapy in Worcestershire?

Are you a passionate physiotherapist ready to join a team of like-minded dynamic physiotherapists in a newly developing service? Our Trust is fortunate to be able to offer you a fantastic opportunity to join our team and help develop this new service meeting the diverse needs of our community.

We expect you to contribute to high quality, multi-agency care and support for patients, as well as to the planning of the future development of our Neighbourhood Teams. You will also have the opportunity to teach and supervise multi-professional clinicians and students and help to shape the future workforce.

You can expect personal and professional development including a comprehensive in-service training programme, support from senior physiotherapists and a structure offering career mobility and coaching and/or mentoring. In addition, there is an exciting opportunity to contribute and plan for the future development of community services across the sustainability and transformation programme.

We can consider the option for developmental posts for those wishing to progress to the next step in their career; a stepped support approach for those wishing to return to practice following a career break or a senior role for those with experience wishing to broaden their clinical remit.

The role will involve assessing and delivering physiotherapy interventions to the adult population of Worcestershire. In contrast to traditional, domiciliary and intermediate type roles, this role offers the diversity of planned referrals and more rapid response urgent physiotherapy as part of the teams’ admission avoidance remit.

The Neighbourhood Teams will provide an integrated approach to care delivery, maximizing available expertise and resource and reducing duplication. The team comprises of community nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, GPs and other aligned specialist roles as the model grows. The advertised post will ensure a truly multi-disciplinary and holistic approach.

It is essential applicants can meet the travel requirements of the post.
