We have a vacancy for a dual Healthcare Assistant/Receptionist, who is enthusiastic and willing to contribute to integrated sexual health services. The post holder will assist and support the team in the delivery of nursing care, under the direct/indirect supervision of a qualified member of staff, as well as working alongside the administration team on reception, supporting general clerical duties.

This vacancy is for 16 hours per week worked on a rotational basis to cover clinic hours across 3 sites (in Redditch and Bromsgrove) to include some evenings and some Saturdays.

The Sexual Health service is a county wide service based on a hub and spoke model. Your main base will be at Arrowside unit (hub), Redditch, but you will rotate to work in other sexual health spokes in the locality; which includes Smallwood and Princess of Wales Community Hospital.

Applicants should have recent reception and general clerical work experience or recent Healthcare Assistant experience along with a Level 2 qualification (e.g. GCSE Grade A-C, NVQ2) in a Health related subject or Business Administration

Or a good standard of general education to GCSE level and will be expected to undertake both Level 2 qualifications on appointment to post.

The successful applicant will be expected to meet the Care Certificate standards within 12 weeks of commencing employment with the Trust.

The Trust offers a preceptorship year for newly qualified nurses and AHP's and attendance at preceptorship programmes is a condition of employment.
