Temple Cowley Health Centre is a busy five Partner NHS GP practice located in East Oxford and caters for the health needs of over 8000 patients. We have a "Good" rating from the Care Quality Commission and are high achievers in QoF. We are member of the Oxford Federation for GP and Primary Care (OxFED) and have close links with our local neighbourhood practices

The successful applicant will be a committed urgent care clinician and will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, referral and discharge of a diverse range of patients with minor injuries/minor illnesses both in the surgery and in the patients' own homes.

You will need to be a be a qualified Paramedic, Specialist Paramedic or Advanced Nurse Practitioner with valid registration with HCPC or NMC, have post registration experience of working in either; A&E, Primary Care or Minor Injuries/Illness Units and have evidence of administering medications using PGD’s. Since this role involves visiting patients in their own homes within our practice boundary access to a vehicle and a full driving licence would be advantageous.
