Abertawe Bro Morgannwg NHS Health Board provides a broad range of community and inpatient services. The Health Board is one of the largest in Wales and the UK. The Mental Health Directorate is responsible for providing Adult Mental Health Services, Older People Mental Health Services, Substance Misuse Services, Forensic Psychiatry and Rehabilitation & Recovery Services.

 

ABMU HB is committed to delivering quality driven mental Health services and we encourage applications from enthusiastic, highly motivated individuals to apply for our Specialty Doctor for Physical Healthcare of Older Peoples Mental Health inpatientsbased in Cefn Coed Hospital in Swansea. This is a replacement post to join a well established inpatient team to provide inpatient care to Older Adults. The successful applicant will work alongside the Consultants within Area 4, providing the day to day mental and physical health care for older individuals with organic and functional mental illnesses admitted to the new Ysbryd Y Coed unit at Cefn Coed Hospital The successful applicant will join an enthusiastic and committed group of consultants in Old age Psychiatry working across Swansea (5 consultants and 5 Specialty doctors) as well as others across the Older People's mental Health Services in ABMU.
